The present study investigated whether online students’ sense of community and self-determined need satisfaction predicted course during the COVID-19 pandemic. sample consisted 136 Australian university students who were studying Students completed surveys for (i.e., social connectedness learning community), relatedness, competence, autonomy), satisfaction. results indicated that significantly needs satisfaction, with having a large effect size.
